“My wish is to help people feel safe in being the full expression of themselves through purpose, connection and the healing of the wounds we hold within us.”
As I rewrite this part of the website I find myself looking back over my life with fresh eyes.
I started my career in the world of engineering, environment and construction, through private sector and government organisations - not places that nurtured me I found. I had tried hard to ‘do life’ and worked long hours until I just couldn’t anymore and something compelled me to leave - I knew there was something else for me - a different way of being, of living.
Around the time I had my children, I discovered and studied Earth Healing and through this profound connection with the Earth, the energetic world opened up to me. I read and explored as much as I could find and started to look at the world in a different way. I did yoga, I meditated, loving the spiritual aspects that I was experiencing but still searching for the ‘thing’ that would light me up.
I found that in Shamanism and studied and learned, experienced and healed, becoming a practitioner in the shamanic way of healing - at last something that made sense of life, how we interact with the planet and each other and the energy that is all around and within everything.
My journey continued on and I found in recent years, through this healing and teaching work that I was helping more and more people to unburden themselves, living lighter and in more peace. Through developing a deep spiritual connection with the Earth, people were becoming more conscious, welcoming a more simple, rich life, acknowledging the sacredness of all - giving meaning to their lives and their relationships. It is not a new way, but a re-kindling of the old ways.
This is reflected in the work that I offer now - shamanism for wherever you put your feet on the ground - deeply reconnecting you with the sense of place, with nature and with your soul.
I’m so grateful for all the experiences through my life, as they caused me to know joy, to be inspired, to stand up for myself and to find myself beneath my past. They brought my spirit to life, ignited my fire which pushed me forward to keep searching for a purpose that gave my life deep meaning.
My love for the planet and all of humanity is ever-reaching.
I hope to connect with you soon.
With love,
Sheila Silverburn
