“My wish is to help people develop a deep connection with the Earth, encouraging a relationship with nature for the wellbeing of all life, for now and for the future”

As I rewrite this part of the website I find myself looking back over my life with fresh eyes.

I started my working life in the world of structural engineering, first in construction and then in ‘flood defence’ in the environmental engineering sector, organisations that I felt had good intentions but not places that nurtured me, I found. I had tried hard and worked long hours until I just couldn’t anymore and something compelled me to leave - I knew there was something else for me - a different way of being, of living.

I felt a strong relationship with my own environment and studied Feng Shui - loving the energetic connection between the self, our surroundings, and the light and the land - finding a much deeper meaning than the often restricted perception around the subject.

At the same time I was partnered in a Landscaping company and was involved in designing gardens - and, as with the construction process, found joy watching ideas on a plan becoming a three dimensional reality. I had also discovered and studied Earth Healing and through this profound connection with the Earth, the energetic world opened up to me. I read and explored as much as I could find and started to look at the world in a different way. I did yoga, I meditated, loving the spiritual aspects that I was experiencing but still searching for the ‘thing’ that would light me up.

I found that in Shamanism and studied and learned, experienced and healed, becoming a practitioner in the shamanic way of healing - at last something that made sense of life, how we interact with the planet, each other and the energy that is all around and within everything - an honouring of all life and how through a harmonic relationship all can be well and thrive.

My journey continued on and I found in recent years, through this healing and teaching work that I was helping more and more people deepen their connection within themselves, with their environments and with the land around them. Through developing this spiritual connection with the Earth, people were becoming more consciously aware, welcoming a more simple, rich life, acknowledging the sacredness of all - giving meaning to their lives and their relationships - not a new way, but a re-kindling of the old ways.

I’m so grateful for all the experiences through my life, as they caused me to know joy, to be inspired, to stand up for myself and to find myself beneath my past. They brought my spirit to life, ignited my fire which pushed me forward to keep searching for a purpose that gave my life deep meaning.

My love for the planet and all of humanity is ever-reaching.
